Sorry if this rubs anyone the wrong way, but personally, I think this software is the worst idea ever in the short history of EVP.

It's essentially stacking the deck, and unnecessarily at that.  For one thing, there's no proof whatsoever that spirits/ghosts "need" "raw material" to work from, that's just one hypothesis; but it's especially delusional to be using garbled up chunks of actual speech.  Statistically, occasionally, new words are going to get created by breaking up existing speech and randomly rearranging the phonemes and formants, it's just a matter of time and opportunity.  Then you'll have a false positive(s).
It's little more than data contamination, IMO.

If one is going to follow the theory that spirits need something to work with, use white noise.. or even pink noise.
Again, in my own opinion, I don't really believe any of this "raw material" is necessary, since people have gotten EVP without them before but at least white noise is just essentially full audio bandwidth static.

To a cynic, no debunking is necessary; to a skeptic, no debunking is irresponsible;  to a true believer, no debunking is possible.

I have to agree with Orion, Back in the 50's and 60's Composer John Cage experimented with computer generated "Chance" compositions with Computer Engineers from MIT, some of it used his recorded voice, which was then scrambled at random and then played back. Words could be heard in some of them.
